Coquitlam is hosting the Seniors' Games from September 20 - 24.  Parking at Poirier Library may be limited as many events are scheduled at the Poirier Leisure Center.  You may need to park a few blocks away or consider other modes of transport. 

Construction activity outside the City Centre branch on Pinetree Way is ongoing. There will be continual lane and sidewalk closures during construction. Please observe all signage and plan alternate routes when possible.

Culture DaysPersian Culture Day

Salmon Sculpture

Twelve large, decorated salmon sculptures are being installed in prominent locations around Coquitlam as part of a public art project celebrating Coquitlam’s 125th anniversary. Our Poirier branch is one of those locations!

Display Cases

We have museum quality glass display cases at both branches for local artists and crafters to exhibit their works. For more information and an application form click here. 

At City Centre branch: A stunning assortment of unique and one-of-a-kind pens. Pens are handmade by Mal Phillips from a variety of materials including wood, acrylic, metal, and stone.    

At Poirier branch: A beautiful and unique collection of jewellery made using gems, beads, and components sourced from all over the world. Designer, Donna Ann Couturier channels her inspiration from nature and describes her collection as "vintage style with a modern flair."
